🎬 Quick Recap
Welcome to the very first Afterthoughts blog post! After launching Episode 1 of my weekly video series, I wanted to create a space where I could reflect, expand, and share a few extra nuggets I didn’t squeeze into the original video.
In Episode 1, I kicked off the journey of building my AI automation business from the ground up — sharing the why behind the mission, why I named the company Autology AI, why everyone should be using AI, and the mindset it takes to start something new. It was all about setting the foundation for what’s to come.
🚀 Why I Launched Autology AI
When I first started diving into AI, it was obvious to me: this technology isn’t just a trend — it’s a fundamental shift in how businesses will now operate.
But I kept noticing something: most small businesses either didn’t know how to use it, felt overwhelmed by it, or thought it was “only for big companies with large budgets.”
I launched Autology AI to change that — to make AI automation simple, accessible, and results-driven for all businesses.
Our mission is simple: help entrepreneurs, creators, and service-based businesses become more efficient and grow by adopting the smartest AI tools available today.
🎯 Why Everyone Should Be Using AI
We’re at the same point today with AI that we were with the internet back in the early 2000s — some people are diving in early, and others are waiting until it feels “safe.”
The problem? Waiting could mean getting left behind...
AI isn’t just for tech giants or Silicon Valley startups anymore.
It’s for the solopreneur writing emails.
It’s for the fitness coach scheduling clients.
It’s for the real estate agent managing leads.
It’s for the local business owner who wants to save time and get more done.
Even using AI for small things — like creating a workout routine, planning a party, or brainstorming ideas — can unlock hours of your time every week.
Once you experience that, it’s hard to imagine running your life or business without it. In the future, it will only get bigger, better, faster, and more integrated into our lives. Don't get left behind!
🧠 What I Missed
Looking back, there are a couple points I would’ve expanded on if I had a little more time:
How AI can be a tool for small businesses, not just big corporations:
I mentioned that everyone should be using AI, but I could’ve drilled down even more on how AI isn’t just for giant companies — it’s becoming a game-changer for small business owners, solo entrepreneurs, and creators, too.The emotional side of starting something new:
I talked about mindset, but didn’t fully get into how important it is to embrace uncertainty, stay patient, and build confidence brick by brick when you’re launching a new business (especially in a fast-moving space like AI).
🛠️ Bonus Tips & Tools
In Episode 1, I talked a lot about ChatGPT and how it's changing the game. Here are a few extra tools and ideas to dive deeper if you’re just getting started with AI:
ChatGPT (Try it here)
Perfect for anything from replacing basic Google searches to brainstorming ideas, drafting content, and even building workflows. If you haven't tried it yet — start simple. Ask it questions you’d normally search for and see what happens.DALL·E (Try it here)
If you're curious about generating images (like cartoon-style graphics or fun art inspired by the action figure trend), DALL·E is an easy and beginner-friendly place to experiment.Beginner Challenge:
Try this: Next time you’re tempted to Google something — ask ChatGPT instead. Compare the results. It’s a great way to start training your brain to think with AI instead of just about AI.
🗣️ You're Up
What’s one thing you’re excited to try with AI — even if it’s just experimenting for fun?
Drop it in the comments or shoot us a message — we'd love to hear what you're curious about!
